The agency said more than 300,000 individuals signed up for coverage between Nov. 9 and Nov. 11. HHS Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell said more than 100,000 enrolled in ACA exchange plans the day following the 2016 presidential election, the highest of any day since enrollment commenced Nov. 1.

More than 1 million individuals have enrolled in health plans through ACA marketplaces since open enrollment began, with one-fourth representing new enrollees and three-fourths reflecting reenrollments.

CMS will release open enrollment snapshots every two weeks throughout the enrollment period, ending Jan. 31.
