Buddy Combs, deputy insurance commissioner at the Oklahoma Insurance Department, said the payer “is planning on being in the market in 2018.”

While BCBSOK confirmed to NewsOn6.com it aims to “participate in the individual market,” the payer said it has “not made any final decisions concerning our level of participation.”

The insurer said it is collaborating with state and federal officials regarding its decision.
