Northwest Texas Health System, BCBS sign provider agreement

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas members gained in-network access to Amarillo-based Northwest Texas Health System under a new contract.

The agreement marks the first time in two decades the King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services subsidiary joined BCBSTX’s provider network.

The contract is effective Dec. 15.
