Though ACHP members hold one third of the top performing plans, they only represent about 10 percent of all MA enrollees nationwide, according to an Oct. 20 news release.
“These scores are a result of community health plans’ unique approach to coverage and care,” ACHP President and CEO Ceci Connolly said. “When payers and providers work together, they’re able to focus on consumers’ needs—ensuring better health outcomes and an overall better care experience.”
CMS released its plan ratings Oct. 6, which decreased on average from 4.37 stars in 2022 to 4.15 in 2023.
