Gov. Pete Ricketts (R) said he encourages seniors purchasing health and prescription drug insurance through Medicare to participate in SHIP, and his administration focuses on making SHIP accessible to older and disabled Nebraskans.

“Drug coverage changes every year. People with Medicare should examine their 2016 choices to be sure they have the most affordable plan,” Director of Insurance Bruce Ramge said in prepared statement.
