The partnership will provide 600 of Molina’s pregnant members with Instacart+ memberships for 18 months and grocery stipends to improve healthy food access and reduce birth outcome disparities, according to a Nov. 19 news release.

Members will also receive $100 stipends monthly for nine months to use on nutritious foods from retailers on Instacart.

Instacart launched its health division in 2022 and has since partnered with health systems, insurers, and HHS.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
