Anthem officially became Elevance Health on June 28. Here are the executives leading the newly rebranded payer, according to its website:
Gail Boudreaux, president and CEO. Ms. Boudreaux has served as Anthem's CEO since November 2017. She was previously the CEO of UnitedHealthcare.
John Gallina, executive vice president and CFO. Mr. Gallina has held his current position since June 2016. He has worked for Elevance or one of its affiliated companies since 1994.
Peter Haytaian, executive vice president of Elevance Health; president of Carelon. Mr. Haytaian heads up the payer's new healthcare services brand Carelon, which was launched June 15. Carelon consolidates the company's portfolio of capabilities and services businesses under a single name. Mr. Haytaian was previously the company's president of diversified business and IngenioRx.
Morgan Kendrick, executive vice president of Elevance Health; president of commercial and speciality business division. Mr. Kendrick has served as the payer's commercial and speciality business division president since October 2021. He has been with the company since 1995.
Gloria McCarthy, executive vice president and chief administrative officer. As chief administrative officer, Ms. McCarthy leads transformation initiatives and is responsible for key enterprise functions such as the global chief information office and the company's international operations.
Felicia Norwood, executive vice president of Elevance Health; president of government business division. Ms. Norwood has served as the company's government business division president since June 2018. She is responsible for the strategic direction and all operations related to the company's Medicaid, Medicare and federal government solutions businesses.
Blair Todt, executive vice president and chief legal officer. Mr. Todt has served as the payer's chief legal officer since November 2020. He previously served as vice president and chief legal officer at Health Care Service Corp.
