Medicare Advantage startup Clever Care raises $41M

A startup integrating Western medicine and Eastern wellness benefits in Medicare Advantage clinched $41 million in a funding round led by Google Ventures. 

Clever Care, founded in 2020, has over 11,000 members. According to a March 15 news release, Point32Health, which operates Medicare Advantage plans through Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare and Tufts Health Plan, also joined the funding round. 

Norwest Venture Partners, Health Velocity Capital, Novo Holdings, Pruven Capital, Brighton Health Partners, Windham Venture Partners, Figure 8 Investments and AV8 also contributed to the series C funding round, according to the release.
