Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drug Co. teams up with Intermountain's Select Health

Salt Lake City-based Select Health, the non-profit insurance subsidiary of Intermountain Health, is partnering with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co. to bring lower cost medication offerings to its members. 

The newly inked partnership between the two, along with Select Health's pharmacy benefit manager Scripius, will make the health plan one of the first in the nation to provide member access to Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co., according to a Sept. 19 news release

Plan members will be able to access more than 1,000 lower cost medications, from the Shark Tank star's pharmaceutical venture. 

"This agreement helps fulfill our mission by making healthcare more affordable to the communities that we serve." Rob Hitchcock, Select Health president and CEO stated in the release. "We are enabling our members to have access to more affordable healthcare by assisting them in finding optimal drug prices."
