Humana's longest-serving board member to depart

Humana's longest-serving director, David Jones Jr., is planning to retire after 30 years on the company's board, WDRB reported March 20.

Mr. Jones, the son of Humana co-founder David Jones Sr., joined the board in 1993 and is the longest-tenured member on the board by 10 years. He will remain a director of the Humana Fund, the company's charitable foundation, WDRB reported.

Mr. Jones, who directs venture fund Chrysalis Ventures, told WDRB the company is "in great shape."
