The plan will be available in eight states for 2023. Humana launched its HumanaHonor plans, designed to complement Veterans Administration benefits, in 2020. The Humana USAA Honor plan is the first to include prescription drug coverage, according to a news release.

Though the plans are designed for veterans, they are available to anyone who is eligible for Medicare Advantage.

“Humana and USAA together are committed to the military community, and we are proud to deliver this opportunity for convenience, savings and personalized support,” Jim Van Valin, segment vice president for Humana MarketPoint, said in a news release.
