Humana also announced a $5.7 billion-deal with home health and hospice provider Kindred at Home April 27.

“By combining onehome’s value-based approach with Kindred’s home health services and Humana’s analytical capabilities and clinical expertise, we believe we can create a transformational value-based offering to serve more people, including non-Humana plan members, nationwide,” Humana’s interim CFO, Susan Diamond, said in the statement.

Onehome’s value-based model currently operates in Florida and Texas, according to the statement.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
