The payer is beginning its soft reopening March 16, with more employees expected to make an in-person return in the coming weeks.

“Even before the COVID pandemic, Humana was an early adopter of more flexible work arrangements. We expect that to continue and we are now offering several different work styles that better meet the needs of our business and our employees. Depending on the type of work each person performs, our employees and their leaders will determine the best work style for each individual situation,” a Humana spokesperson told WLKY.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
