The award marks the fourth year in a row that Humana has won a Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice Award in the payer/pharmacy benefits manager category, according to a Nov. 3 news release.
Humana beat out finalists AcariaHealth, CVS and Welldyne Specialty Pharmacy to earn the award. The honor is awarded by a committee comprising executives of pharmaceutical companies, payers, trade organizations and research firms.
