Humana puts $40M behind affordable housing

Humana is investing another $40 million into affordable housing, bringing the payer’s total spending on low-cost rental units to $90 million.

According to an April 13 news release, the funding will go to projects in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. 

Humana has made two previous $25 million housing investments since 2021.
