Humana in the headlines: 8 recent updates

1. Humana is expanding its Medicare Advantage plans to Rhode Island, offering plans for 2023 in Bristol, Kent and Newport counties. 
   
   
2. An audit from the HHS Office of the Inspector General found HumanaChoice Medicare Advantage plan received $34.4 million in overpayments from CMS. 
   
   
3. The Humana Fund, the insurer's philanthropic arm, donated $1 million to Hurricane Ian disaster relief, with funds distributed to the Florida Disaster Fund and local organizations in counties hardest-hit by the storm.
