Effective Jan. 1, Philadelphia-based Aria Health and Bensalem, Pa.-based Rothman Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital will join the Humana-Jefferson agreement. The contract extends network access to Humana’s Medicare Advantage policyholders with health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization and network private fee-for-service plans.
“Our new, expanded network agreement with Jefferson Health will give our Medicare members in and around Philadelphia greater access in 2017 to the healthcare facilities, physicians and specialty services provided by Jefferson Health, Aria and ROSH,” Humana East Region Medicare Vice President Eric Bohannon said in a statement.
