Humana will give the ACO the ability to expand its services and add infrastructure to support performance in population- and value-based contracting, which should enhance its quality rating with CMS, the ACO said in a July 13 news release.

It supports more than 250,000 people in various government and commercial programs. The ACO is designed to provide personalized, proactive and affordable care for patients.
