Hospital patients under a Humana Medicare Advantage plan will not have their coverage interrupted at the system’s three hospitals, 30 clinics, Baton Rouge Rehab Hospital and Mid City Speciality Network, according to a March 25 report in The Advocate.
In March, the hospital sent a May 3 contract termination notice to Humana in a dispute over reimbursement rates. The hospital said it had not received a rate increase from Humana in over a decade.
The hospital said the dispute was cleared up but did not provide details about new rates, according to The Advocate.
