ACSI’s report is based on interviews with more than 30,000 customers. Customers were asked to evaluate their recent experience with some of the largest commercial health plans.
Humana tied with Kaiser Permanente for the industry lead in 2018, but moved up this year as the insurer shifts to more healthcare-focused operations rather than just benefits, ACSI said.
