Holy Redeemer is the first community-based health system to join Independence’s Facilitated Health Networks model. The model aims to curb medical costs by enhancing care coordination.

The insurer added two other Philadelphia providers to its FHN model this year: University of Pennsylvania Health System and Temple University Health System.
