Health Partners expands Pennsylvania footprint to 3 counties

Philadelphia-based managed care organization Health Partners Plans will sell its Medicare Advantage policies in three additional Pennsylvania counties effective Oct. 15.

More than 237,000 Medicare beneficiaries in Lancaster, Lehigh and Northampton Counties will be able to choose a HPP plan for 2017 health coverage. The payer will sell in eight counties total next year.  

HPP President and CEO William George said in a prepared statement the “expansion marks another wave of continued growth for Health Partners Plans.”
