Health insurer stock report: Week of Sept. 18-22

All five major commercial payers saw their stock prices fall last week.

Among the payers, Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna saw its share price drop the most at 5.6 percent.

Here is how the five health insurers fared, as of Sept. 22.  

  • Aetna (Hartford, Conn.): $153.57 per share (down 5.6 percent)
  • Anthem (Indianapolis): $182.86 per share (down 2 percent)
  • Cigna (Bloomfield, Conn.): $182.74 per share (down 1.8 percent)
  • Humana (Louisville, Ky.): $239.09 per share (down 4.1 percent)
  • UnitedHealth Group (Minnetonka, Minn.): $193.03 per share (down 2.6 percent)
