The company opened a facility that includes a Florida Blue retail office and a GuideWell primary care office for the first time in Central Florida, The Ledger reported Nov. 5.
Dana Lisicki, GuideWell interim vice president for medical group operations, told the Ledger that the facility aims to leverage the strengths of both entities. Patients can sign up for coverage and schedule an appointment with a physician in the same visit.
