GoodRx is launching a generic prescription drug subscription plan for families that will be available directly to consumers and through its Employer Direct channel, where it will be pitched as a supplement to traditional benefits or as coverage for workers who don’t qualify for them.
The Companion Family Plan costs $24.99 per month, or $16.99 per month on an annual basis, and covers a primary member and up to four dependents, including pets. Members will be able to access more than 250 generic medications at no cost and hundreds more for under $10 at retail pharmacies. The plan also includes savings on dental, vision, lab and imaging services.
The prescriptions flow through retail pharmacies with no payer or PBM involvement.
