Amerigroup Maryland, an Elevance Health subsidiary, has rebranded as Wellpoint Health.
According to a Jan. 3 news release, the name change will have no impact on the network or operations of the Medicaid managed care provider.
The rebrand, which took effect Jan. 1, does not impact Amerigroup plans in New Jersey or Washington, D.C., according to the news release.
