According to news releases published Sept. 4, the company will offer individual and family plans in Texas, Florida and Maryland in 2025. Elevance has Medicaid-managed care contracts in each of these states.

As of June, Elevance had 1.2 million individual exchange members.

The ACA market has grown rapidly in recent years, as increased federal subsidies make plan premiums more affordable.

In Texas, ACA enrollment grew by 212% from 2020 to 2024, according to KFF. In Florida, enrollment grew by 120% in the same period.
