In-home medical care provider DispatchHealth announced a partnership with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based health system AdventHealth to expand in-home medical visits to Florida cities and the Kansas City metro area.
The partnership is an expansion of DispatchHealth's current operations in Tampa, Fla., according to a May 18 news release.
Through the provider's app or website, patients can request the arrival of an acute medical care team to their homes for treatment of conditions including viral infections and congestive heart failure.
Founded in 2013, DispatchHealth's care model has saved patients an average of $1,100 to $1,700 per acute care visit, the news release said.
