CVS puts additional $35M behind affordable housing in Hawaii

CVS Health is providing an additional $35 million for affordable housing developments in Hawaii. 

CVS has invested $62.2 million in affordable housing across Hawaii to date. The latest investments will go toward residents in Lahaina, Maui and Kapolei, Oahu to offer supportive social and educational programs, according to a Feb. 21 news release. 

CVS invested $17.5 million to help build 200 affordable housing units in Lahaina following the wildfires in 2023. The company also invested $17.3 million to build 169 affordable housing units in Kapolei.
