CVS Health was ranked No. 11 on Fortune's Change the World list for its efforts to reduce suicide attempts among Aetna members.
"Aetna has seen an 18 percent decrease in suicide attempts since 2019 among its 16.3 million adult members with behavioral health coverage — a promising start," the magazine wrote in its profile of CVS.
CVS Health said in September it has made progress toward its goal of reducing suicide attempts among adult Aetna members, but rates of suicide attempts in teen populations are increasing. The company said it is doubling down on efforts to prevent suicide attempts among teenagers.
CVS Health tweeted Oct. 10 it was "proud" to be included on the list.
