Annie Lee is slated to join Colorado Access, the state's largest Medicaid plan, as its president and CEO on Feb. 14, according to a news release shared with Becker's.
Ms. Lee is the first woman and person of color to hold the role.
"I am excited and humbled to be selected as the next president and CEO of Colorado Access," Ms. Lee said. "The mission, values and history of the organization make it uniquely positioned to optimize how Coloradans access affordable, quality health care."
Ms. Lee currently serves as executive director of community health and Medicaid strategies at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She also held positions at Kaiser Permanente Colorado and the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing.
Current President and CEO Marshall Thomas, MD, will retire from the position after a 16-year tenure.
