CMS Administrator Chiquita Brooks-Lasure said the agency is focused on areas it has authority over, such as contraception, according to the report. The agency is prioritizing better access to contraception in Medicaid and ACA health plans over the next year, she said.
CMS also is encouraging states to use Medicaid to ensure men and women have access to birth control, according to the report.
