Cigna to open Saudi Arabia office

Cigna has received approval to open a branch in Saudi Arabia, International Adviser reported Feb. 7.

Cigna is the first foreign insurer to be granted a license to open a branch in the country, according to the report. 

Jerome Droesch, chief executive of domestic health and health services at Cigna International Markets, said the move is a milestone for the company and represents “an exciting step along our growth journey in the kingdom and the region.”
