Cigna to offer individual ACA plans in 3 new states

Cigna will offer health plans on the individual ACA marketplace in three new states and will expand its offerings in three other states for the 2023 coverage year.

Pending regulatory approvals, the plans will be offered for the first time in 50 counties across Texas, Indiana and South Carolina, according to an Aug. 29 news release.

The expansion includes additional counties in Georgia, Mississippi and North Carolina and will potentially reach around 730,000 additional members next year. 

If approved, Cigna will offer individual and family plans on the individual ACA marketplace in 363 counties across 16 states.
