Mr. Droesch will lead markets that include the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain and Australia, according to an Aug. 18 news release.
Previously, he was CEO of Cigna’s Middle East, Africa and South East Asia operations. He also leads Cigna’s international strategy, innovation, and data and analytics.
Mr. Droesch will remain as a board member for Cigna’s businesses in India, Turkey and Australia.
