The Cigna Group is granting 24 health organizations funding to support youth mental health projects.

Here are three things to know:

  1. The grants are part of a three-year, $9 million program. Around one-third of the 24 grantees also received funding from the Cigna Group in 2024, according to a June 30 news release.
  2. The programs Cigna will fund are focused on serving youth ages 5-18 by fostering social-emotional skills and well-belling, increasing the number of parents and youth service professionals who feel equipped to support mental health and expanding pathways to mental healthcare.
  3. In 2024, Cigna committed to more than $27 million in grants for youth mental health, veteran mental health and health equity projects.
