Cigna CEO to chair US-Korea business council: 3 things to know

The U.S. Chamber’s U.S.-Korea Business Council elected Cigna CEO David Cordani as chairman Dec. 15.

Here are three things to know about the appointment.

1. Mr. Cordani, who began helming Cigna as president and CEO in 2009, will serve a two-year term with USKBC.

2. He will succeed Paul Jacobs, PhD, executive chairman of Qualcomm.

3. USKBC comprises major U.S. companies doing business in Korea, and is the primary American business organization promoting business ties between the two countries.
