The first 10,000-square-foot site in Milford, Del., will house a traditional primary care practice and a clinic for members of the Medicare Advantage plans. Patients will have access to in-person visits with providers and can connect virtually with specialists in ChristianaCare’s network, according to a May 16 news release.
The traditional primary care practice will provide a range of services, including physical examinations, preventive health screenings and immunizations, chronic disease management and care for acute illnesses.
The second dual practice site for families and seniors will open in Rehoboth, Del.
“ChristianaCare is on a mission to provide the right care, at the right place for everyone we are privileged to serve,” Chief Population Health Officer Christine Donohue Henry, MD, said. “This includes identifying communities that need primary and specialty care services as well as services for those 65 and older, ensuring they have access to high-quality, convenient health care. We are excited to open this dual practice site and offer families and seniors truly exceptional care.”
