Centene’s Sarah London among youngest Fortune 500 CEOs

Centene’s Sarah London is the fifth-youngest CEO of a Fortune 500 company, according to Fortune

Ms. London, 41, was named Centene’s CEO March 22. Her previous roles in the company include vice chairman and senior vice president of technology innovation and modernization. Ms. London was a partner at Optum Ventures before joining Centene. 

Health insurer Centene ranked 26th on this year’s Fortune 500 list, released May 23. 

The average age of a Fortune 500 company is about 57 years old, according to the report.
