Centene projects $142.5M+ in 2024 revenue, announces $4B stock repurchase program

Centene expects 2024 revenues to be at least $142.5 billion

The company shared ahead of its Dec. 12 investor day that it projects revenues between $142.5 billion and $145.5 billion next year. It is anticipating premium and service revenues of $132 billion to $135 billion in 2024. It is also anticipating a health benefits ratio of 87.3% to 87.9% and an adjusted diluted earning per share of greater than $6.70.

Centene reaffirmed its 2023 premium and service revenues in the previously announced range of $137.5 billion to $139.5 billion. It also reaffirmed its health benefits ratio guidance of 87.1% to 87.7% and adjusted diluted EPS guidance of at least $6.60. 

The company board of directors also authorized a $4 billion increase to its existing stock repurchase program. The increase is in addition to the $1.2 billion remaining under the previously authorized program.
