Ten states have not expanded Medicaid to all low-income adults. In at least two states, Mississippi and Kansas, some officials are pushing for lawmakers to take up expansion in 2024.
Around 2.3 million uninsured people would gain coverage if these 10 states expanded Medicaid, according to an Oct. 23 report from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
