California’s ACA marketplace, Google partner on AI-powered enrollment

California’s ACA marketplace, Covered California, is partnering with Google to automate parts of the coverage enrollment process using artificial intelligence.

The new solution is set to launch in June and will provide state residents with the ability to upload documents through the Covered California online application and receive instant verification status, according to an April 10 news release.

This AI-powered solution uses machine learning to automate the task of verifying resident information, improving speed and accuracy of data extraction, and gaining insights for decision making.
