In-network providers who administer a first dose between Feb. 14 and April 30 will receive a $10 incentive per patient. Second and third doses do not qualify.

The program aims to use primary care providers as a trusted source of information to educate members on the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

Providers who opt in to the program by Feb. 28 will receive a list of eligible L.A. Care Health Plan patients who qualify, allowing the providers to conduct outreach.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
