The payer said growth in Florida, North Carolina and Texas during open enrollment fueled the raised outlook.

“We continue to demonstrate our ability to drive scale within our differentiated model and are now well-positioned to realize the full potential of the Bright Health Group strategy,” said Mike Mikan, president and CEO. “Serving 1 million health plan members was a key milestone for the company… We are making the necessary investments now to position ourselves for long-term success.”

With the announcement, Bright Health pitched a 2022 revenue outlook of between $6.3 million and $6.5 million. The payer will share additional details during its Jan. 11 J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference session.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
