Blue Shield of California taps chief growth officer

Blue Shield of California has named Ellen Sexton executive vice president and chief growth officer.

Ms. Sexton will oversee growth and performance of all lines of business for Blue Shield, including commercial, Medicare and Medi-Cal, according to a Dec. 2 news release.

Previously, she held leadership roles at Curative, Humana and UnitedHealthcare.
