Here are two things to know about Mr. Woodard’s appointment.
1. He most recently served as treasurer and chief risk officer at Chattanooga-based BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In his tenure at BCBST, Mr. Woodard was controller, chief accounting officer and director of internal audit and information security.
2. Mr. Woodard earned a master’s of business administration from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. He also earned a bachelor’s of science in accounting from Auburn (Ala.) University.
