The decline in net income was primarily due to “unrealized losses in our investment portfolio,” the company said in a July 5 news release. The company’s income was around 0.1 percent of its total revenue for 2022.
The company paid $16.51 billion in claims in 2022, down slightly from 2021.
The company brought in $18.6 billion in revenue in 2022.
