1. Dr. Conway will succeed Brad Wilson, who announced his retirement in February after serving as president and CEO for seven years.
2. Currently, Dr. Conway is the deputy administrator for innovation and quality at CMS.
3. He formerly managed clinical operations and research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
4. He was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2014.
5. He has received the President’s Distinguished Senior Executive Rank and HHS Secretary’s Distinguished Service awards.
6. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine.
