BCBS Federal Employee Plan to add benefits, decrease premiums for 2023

Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Federal Employee Program will decrease dental and vision premiums and add benefits for 2023.

The Federal Employee Program covers 5.6 million federal employees and their dependents, according to an Oct. 5 news release. 

Added benefits for 2023 will include prenatal blood pressure monitoring and postnatal mental healthcare for no out-of-pocket cost. The plans will also include expanded dental benefits for children, according to the release.
