The renovations, which are slated to reach completion toward the end of 2018, will house 2,600-plus employees. An additional 2,300 employees will work remotely or in other locations in Indianapolis.
Anthem has been headquartered in Indianapolis for nearly 75 years. The renovations will feature an on-site fitness facility, an on-site cafeteria focused on healthy food options, collaboration areas and employee lounges.
